Approach: Instruction Definition

The system of instruction definitions makes PLC Reports highly flexible. Simply tell PLC Reports how the reporting should take place by using the clear text instruction set. The instruction set is an English-language plaintext.

For example, to log the online value of variable 2 into the archive “Supply Air Temperature”, simply use the statement “Archive Variable (2, Supply Air Temperature)”.

If you want to read this week room temperature values from the archive, use the following command: “Read Archived Variable (Room Temperature, This Week)”

If you want to print the report, use “Print Report”.
If the report should be saved as PDF, the command “Save as PDF ()” is used.
The user manual of PLC Reports describes each statement in detail.
